The pies here are absolutely outstanding, with a light, flaky crust and delicious homemade fillings that keep me coming back. Great pie!!! Friendly service and very convenient! Can't wait to go back. They don't accept credit or debit cards, only cash. Thee go-to destination for your evening cruise or a relaxing stop as you pass through town. Great ice cream, pie, sandwiches, friendly staff, and abundant seating inside or outdoors.

This was our first visit to the Big Dipper. I had the California burger, and I do believe it is probably the best burger I have ever had. My husband had the pork tenderloin sandwich, which he thought was also the best. We also ordered the deep fried mushroom, absolutely perfect. We each had a side order of fries,and had to take some home, just too much to eat. We were too full for ice cream, but we will be back for that when we are in the area.The service was splendid, also the cafe was decorated so cute. So anyone that visits Hackensack, make sure you visit this place. You won't be disappointed!
