Recently went to Izzo's for a girls night and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious broasted chicken dinner we had. The crispy skin and moist, perfectly cooked chicken made for a memorable meal. The specialty drink menu featuring fun golf-inspired drinks added to the enjoyable experience, and I can't wait to return and possibly sit on their lovely deck overlooking the golf course and pond. The overall food quality and friendly service at Izzo's make it a worthwhile stop near the Detroit Lakes Airport on Highway 10.

Went here recently twice with a friend. Had the Alfredo Chicken Pizza the first time. Both became sick hours later. Staff was terrible, from the bartender to the server working our table. Was another couple drinking at the bar otherwise the place was empty. Seems we were both ignored for at least 25 minutes. Took another 30 minutes to get our pizza. At which point the server gave us dirty wet plates to eat off of. Pizza was skimpy for the outrageous prize of 20 dollars. Pop tasted flat, server never came back to check on us. She just kinda hid out messing with her phone the whole time. finally got the check and tried to leave quickly. Was not happening, the bartender was no wheres to be found for another 10 minutes. After we were able to pay bill the bartender just rolled her eyes at the small tip we had left. honestly she should be happy to get anything at all or even have a job. View was great but I'm amazed this place can stay open with substandard service and food. Too bad months ago a friend said it was a great place to eat and have drinks at. Oh yeah, the second time we went. Well if ya like raw burgers then its the place to be....
