Calm, vibrant, eccentric, cozzy. These are some of the feelings a costumer would most likely get as they enter Peter's, a restaurant which is a part of the Litchfield Golf Course. Peter's is a very fancy establishment and makes one feel very soothing. Music which played throughout the restaurant could be heard at a low level and very joyous.
The entrance is welcomed by a water wall and benches which anybody could fall asleep in due to their cuddly and warm feel. Red is the color of choice in the building, covering the floors, lining the walls, and included in the chairs. Once leaving the entrace and entering the dining area the salad bar gives off a delightful aroma. Architecture inside of the building is fabulous, a double sided fireplace is the center piece of the room, and on both sides the tables are semetric. Wood logs are the look of manastles causing the fireplace to look very realistic and homely. A large wreath layers the wall in the background of many chandelier lightings. Although, in another corner of the room it is very gloomy and cold. The chairs at the tables are just like sitting on clouds.
While sitting in the waiting room expect to be doing exactly what the room is meant for, waiting. Unless contact is made with the chit chating waitresses, wait to be seated turns into nap time in the waiting room. Once a waitress finally comes over to assist the consultation is very warming and cheerful. Many open tables remain empty although dining is usually quite busy in other restaurants around seven o'clock. This may be due to the small town, but i believe it is also a part of the cost and quality of the food. The menu was very simple and ranged from regular onion rings, to burgers, to King Crab. Considering the food was descently expensive, ecpectations for the meal were high. Before recieving certain entrees, costumers are allowed to eat at the salad bar which consisted of: salad, toppings for the salad, soup, meatballs, herring, and assorted breads with butter. The food which was supposed to be warm was cold and dissapointing.
my ribs which i got later were burnt and the plate looked very open.
