During our visit, we didn't have any supernatural encounters, we simply stopped by for a meal while passing through town. Despite a bustling restaurant, the service was efficient and friendly, and we ended up purchasing a charming birdhouse as a souvenir. The Palmer House Hotel, located on Sinclair Lewis Avenue and Main Street, exuded an old-world charm that reminded me of childhood nostalgia.

I had an excellent salad made of spinach, walnuts, almonds, orange slices, apples, bacon bits, and cheese, with a sweet house dressing that was out of this world!!! Atmosphere is old world, with service with a smile, unusual now a days! I give it a TEN!!
