Supper clubs have been a favorite of mine since childhood visits to my grandfather in Wisconsin. During a recent trip to Duluth, Lindsay C. and I ventured about 15 minutes outside of downtown to enjoy Le Grand Supper Club, where I savored broiled Canadian walleye while she opted for a steak dinner. The generous portions and homemade quality of the food, combined with the lively atmosphere of the adjacent tavern, made for a memorable dining experience reminiscent of a bygone era.
