My friends and I decided to grab dinner at Wandering Pines on a busy Friday night. We all enjoyed our meals, but I found the fish fry to be particularly delicious and generously portioned. The draft beer selection was decent, and the service was almost great, although the waitress didn't check back on us until we asked for the check. Overall, both the food and service were disappointing, but we did meet the owner, Earl Fitzgerald, who was a really nice guy with a great staff. Despite the initial letdown, I'm from Iowa and will definitely be back to give it another try.

Good food, great friendly service, good daily specials. We go there often. Recommend it highly
