Enjoyed a delicious meal with my husband at the Freight House, where we savored Street Tacos with Shrimp, Fish and Chips with truffle fries, and a side of our own; the friendly wait staff, live music, and generous portions made for a memorable dining experience with our dog in tow.

Atmosphere is nice. Service ok. Menu options not great. Surprised when we got our bill and they tact on an extra charge. When asked, the waitress said it was for the kitchen help. With what the Freight House charges, they can't pay their kitchen help? They have to tack on an extra charge to the bill (without prior notification) for the kitchen help? If they need to do this, it should be posted on the menu. After all, they post the prices of the meals, I think it should be posted they charge an extra fee for the kitchen help.

This place looks great from the outside and inside but the food and service is not what you expect. The food came out cold,they had slow service and the employees would rather goof off than refill drinks or check back with you. We obviously had empty drinks and I dropped my fork and it an employee saw it and didn't offer me another one. I had to go ask for one. Go anywhere else!
