Jade House, a long-time favorite in Shoreview, has unfortunately closed its doors for good. Despite its sporadic hours, my family and I enjoyed their classic dishes like sesame chicken, beef fried rice, and cream cheese puffs. While the new restaurant moving in may offer a fresh dining experience, Jade House will always hold a special place in our hearts for its reliable Chinese take-out. It's a shame that they are no longer open for lunch, but the consistently excellent food makes it worth the visit for dinner.

Although good food, it's hard to believe they stay in business. It seems they close whenever they want. It's either an illness in the family or several times a year they close anywhere between 3-10 days for no reason and my personal favorite which has been used at least 3 times in 3 months one of their fans is on the fritz. Either you're in business or you're not, figure it out!
