WAITED 10 MINUTES BEOFRE ASKED WHAT WE WANTED TO ORDER. THEN A FRIEND CAME IN LATE AND JOINED US WHEN OUR FOOD ARRIVED. HE SAID "I'LL TAKE THE SAME THING". SHE WALKED AWAY. WHEN SHE FINALLY CAME BACK, SHE HADN'T PUT IN HIS ORDER. SAID SHE DIDN'T HEAR HIM, BUT NEVER ASKED HIM WHAT HE WANTED WHEN OUR ORDERS ARRIVED AT TABLE.

It's like they say, "never judge a book by its cover." This place is worth a second look. The food is home cooked, and the portions are hearty. The wait staff are friendly and the locals will tell you that this place is the "real deal." For the record, they do a huge catering business and as the Pierre Botteneau project moves along, they will be rebuilding. You're sure to see several semi's and service trucks parked outside; these folks know "what's what." Check it out. ER
