Solid 4.5 stars for a night that started with bar seating and ended with me craving smoked trout cakes and a perfectly good Old Fashioned. The steak tartare dazzled, the lion's mane mushroom cakes brought an intriguing texture with a spicy kick, and the Reuben sandwich hit the warm, crispy spot just right. From the friendly staff to the cozy vibe and killer playlist, this place nailed it - and yes, I will be back to tackle that amaro flight and maybe sample a few more of those small plates that are really anything but small.
