The bone in fish is amazing, I had the food for the first time two weeks ago. I love it, I will try the onion rings and shrimp this weekend😊

My husband and i were passing thru from Tx to Tn and read favorable reviews.Was a little skeptical based on the exterior but what a wonderful delicious meal. Clean place, Great service! Enjoyed their seafood platter. Tasty shrimp,oysters,and fried fish with delicious Cole slaw. Will definitely return!!

I've been enjoying the fried catfish (whole fish or fillets) for going on about 25 years now, and I gotta tell you, it's worth the drive even from New Orleans to get a taste of the best catfish EVER, right here. The menu is simple and not full of fluff, but you can get shrimp and fried chicken too. The prices are excellent for an all you can eat catfish dinner. You have to know though, the hush-puppies are second to NONE! The coleslaw is outstanding(the best I've ever had). I live up north these days, but when I get an opportunity to visit my home areas of Mandeville, Slidell and Abita Springs, I always make time for Cuevas' Fish House. You won't be sorry, but check the days it's open. They serve dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
