During a spontaneous mother-daughter weekend at Dunleith, we stayed in one of the courtyard rooms, which, although cozy and dimly lit, provided a peaceful night's sleep on the plush beds. The estate itself is breathtaking, with well-kept grounds and a charming castle restaurant offering complimentary breakfast and a comprehensive tour led by the knowledgeable and engaging guide, Kearby. While the gift shop lacked substantial food options, the overall experience at Dunleith was memorable, and I would certainly recommend staying in the main house for a more spacious and well-lit accommodation.
