This place might not be fancy, but it's a solid choice in town. I had a fantastic dinner here with my husband, and the food was delicious, especially the enchiladas and hot tamales; we'll definitely be coming back for more.

The food at El Mariachi exceeded my expectations, especially the enchiladas and hot tamales, which were among the best I've had in a long time. The service was friendly and attentive, making for a wonderful dining experience that I can't wait to repeat.

We have been to this restaurant on about three occasions paying by cash each time. Just after Christmas we took the family and paid by credit card. On the bill we were given to sign there was a space for us to leave a tip. we did not fill that in, marked through it but we left a large cash tip. When we got home we saw that they had charged a 15% service charge on the receipt. I do not know if there was 15% added on to the receipt when I signed but if so, why leave a place again to add the gratuity? This is sneaky and although the food was good we will not return to a place that scams you that way. Is it worth losing a customer over? You just have.
