Just to be clear, I would like to voice my dissatisfaction with some of the many times that I have visited McDonald's to have a burger and or fries before returning home late night. It seems that the workers either cannot read, cannot see clearly, or don't read. On several occasions when going through the drive-thru, upon requesting double hamburger, specifying no cheese, the food has been delivered just the opposite of what is requested. One thing is that I hate to confront the personnel about the wrong order process especially during the athletic seasons, because the drive-thru and the inside are always full. But what is the reason behind the same thing continuing to happen from one visit to another? My most recent experience with the lack of delivering my specific order was due to the person taking the order not being able to hear/understand the difference between "just ketchup" and "add ketchup". My order was a filet-o-fish with just ketchup and a small fry. Just and add does not have any semblance of having the same sound. So, when asked if he understood the specifics of the order, he said "yes, I have it, 'just ketchup'". And not knowing how the ones preparing the order would deliver, it was prepared just as he had indicated, with just ketchup. I have often wondered how the screens are viewed where the orders are displayed. It is hard to tell if the food preparers are not viewing the orders correctly, or what the situation is. However, I believe that those who are responsible for preparing the food and those who are responsible for what is input into the order display system should be held accountable for their mistakes. How often have you visited a specific restaurant, and the orders are rarely correct? It comes down to having to check your order before leaving the window, while you are holding someone else up that's in the line behind you. To clarify why no cheese, diabetics are not suppose to have large quantities of dairy products, thus no cheese. I pray that a change will take place at some point.
