The fried catfish here is absolutely delicious, with a soft yet crispy breading that tastes divine, and the coleslaw paired with pickled green tomatoes and jalapeños is surprisingly addictive even for someone who usually dislikes tomatoes. The hush puppies are exceptional, and the staff, including Jo and Lori, provide friendly and attentive service that makes the meal even better. Though the atmosphere feels quaint and homey, a few minor issues like a sticky table and sitting under an air conditioner slightly cooled the experience, but overall, the food and hospitality made it well worth the visit.

The coleslaw and fried catfish were absolutely outstanding, and the friendly service added to the welcoming atmosphere that made the experience truly enjoyable. If you're in the area, you owe it to yourself to try the perfectly fried seafood and the unique pickled green tomatoes that will leave you craving more.

Overpriced and not good. Our fish had been reheated and the tea was sour. The building needs updates and it was not clean. Save yourself from a bad meal and go to Mack's.

This is the 1st time we tried Rayners. Sadly it's the last time. We had the whole fried catfish, the catfish was undersized and over fried. Not the best hushpuppys we've ever had. If you want good fried green tomatoes, I recommend whistle stop in Wiggins . the catfish had two bites of meat per side. Save your money , it's a huge disappointment.
