During my stay in 2006, I found the ambience of the old wing at the Edison-Walthall quite enjoyable. Seeking a change from the new wing, I discovered that the older part of the hotel exuded charm and character. Compared to the clean and modern feel of the Marriott where I stayed the year before, I found the older wing of the Edison-Walthall to be more appealing for those who appreciate the charm of historic hotels. As I plan my visit for 2011, I am looking forward to booking a room in the old wing once again.
