Bowens Tavern offers homemade, flavorful food with standout items like juicy Reuben sandwiches, crispy hand-cut onion rings, and some of the best Buffalo tenders around, all served with friendly and attentive service. Despite its noisy, bar-like atmosphere, the breakfast menu, especially the corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, and customizable Bloody Marys, makes it a favorite local destination just a couple of miles outside Belfast.
