What a great place!! I have to wonder about the agenda of the last reviewer. Menu has stayed the same, with the same prices. New owner has kept everything the same with the exception of adding some delicious new items!! Bar hasn't changed either, so I am curious as to how it suddenly has "poor acoustics" and is smelly??? Same people, same awesome food, same happy hour prices and same great place to dine!! Square One is our favorite place in New Hope!!!

Once upon a time this was a fun place to eat and watch the local New Hope people at the bar. The food was reasonable and the happy hour prices were affordable. It was owned by the former owners of Bowman Tower Restaurant.

It is NOT a great place to dine today. The restaurant was sold to a man from Newtown, PA and it has lost its luster and the food is now expensive and mediocre. And the bar is smelly, noisy - poor acoustics and the smell of urinal deodorant. They say not all good things can last forever. Sad but true.

For those people cruising through New Hope looking for good, casual dining and affordable drinks, I would suggest Giuseppe's (aka HG New Hope Pizza and Family Restaurant), which is down the road on Rt 202. Bon Appetit.
