The Hot Chicks Room is this cool little bar right next to the Upright Citizens Brigade East Village theater. It's a bit of a dive, but the drinks are budget-friendly and they've got a good enough variety to choose from. The bartenders there are super nice, and we managed to snag a table without any trouble about half an hour before our show kicked off. The pitcher of local pale ale we got was a great deal at just 20 bucks, and it was huge - definitely more than your typical bar would give you. Plus, you can bring your drinks with you into the show and pop back to the bar during intermission if you want. All in all, it was a chill spot to hang out before catching the UCB show.
