I lived near the Flying Lobster Bar in New York for a few years, and it became a weekly highlight for me to stop by for a beer and enjoy the live jazz music. The cozy atmosphere allowed me to quickly get to know other patrons and feel at home in the bar. As I prepare to move, I hope to find another similar place that offers such a warm and welcoming environment.
