On November 23, 2019, at approximately 1409 hours, Nat D. and I, Dante G., responded to a welfare check at Joe's establishment on 2 Williams Street in Greenville, South Carolina, where I ordered a Lavender and Honey Latte and observed the business's struggles after five years of operation without profit, leading me to appreciate its cozy atmosphere filled with books, coffee, and a sense of community that I look forward to revisiting.
