The variety of food options made it easy to satisfy even my picky daughter, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for a location near Mount Rushmore. Our meals arrived hot and fresh, the staff was friendly and attentive-especially Liberty-and I really enjoyed the southwest-style veggie burger on a gluten-free bun along with the cozy, historically decorated atmosphere.

Carver's Cafe at Mount Rushmore Park offers a decent variety of dishes at good prices, making it a convenient choice for a meal. Our group enjoyed the southwest-style veggie burger with a surprisingly good gluten-free bun, along with other menu items clearly labeled for gluten-free and vegetarian options. The cafeteria-style setup may seem typical for a tourist area, but the quality and affordability of the food pleasantly surprised us during our visit.
