A few weeks back, my friend and I warmed up on a chilly day with a hearty lunch at Magic Jug on Irving Park, just east of Narragansett. The cozy wooden interior sets the tone for comforting, home-cooked Ukrainian dishes like borscht, stuffed cabbage, and crepes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and served with genuine hospitality. Between the flavorful soups, satisfying entrees, and refreshing compote drinks, it's clear this neighborhood spot takes pride in delivering authentic flavors and a welcoming atmosphere every time.
