There's an amazing spot near Joliet prison where the tacos are incredibly fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor-especially the birria tacos, which are hands down the best around. The staff is friendly and attentive despite some language barriers, the tortillas are made in-house, and the salsa variety ranges from mild to fiery, making every visit a satisfying experience.

There's a hidden treasure near Joliet prison that offers incredibly fast service and some of the best tacos I've tasted. The atmosphere feels like home, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome, even if there's a bit of a language barrier. I can't get enough of the birria tacos and the homemade tortillas; every visit leaves me excited to return for more authentic flavors!
