Located at Halsted and Grand, The Dawson impresses with its soaring glass-adorned ceilings, elegant candlelit tables, beautifully scented restrooms, and a welcoming, knowledgeable staff-especially servers like Risa and Daniel who provide attentive, personalized service-while offering an inventive, perfectly seasoned menu featuring standout dishes such as ricotta pancakes, shrimp and grits, sriracha butter chicken, and chicken fried lobster, complemented by creative cocktails and a warm holiday ambiance, making every visit, from casual brunches to special celebrations and even weddings, a memorable experience I eagerly look forward to repeating.
