Gathering with friends on a weeknight, we were quickly seated and promptly offered individual checks, which made splitting the bill effortless. The salsa dazzled my palate, while my combo of tamale and flautas, accompanied by corn cake and sour cream, delivered comforting, robust flavors-though the cold lettuce underneath the corn cake was a slight letdown. Service had its slow moments despite a calm dining room, but the fresh, flavorful dishes and attentive staff, especially Xavier, made the experience enjoyable enough to plan a return visit.

I dined here with a group for dinner, as 8 of us gathered instead of the expected 10. We were promptly seated on a weeknight and appreciated the server offering individual checks for our convenience. The salsa was exceptional, and my combo meal of tamale and flautas was enjoyable with its side of corn cake and sour cream. Although the corn cake was served cold on lettuce, the overall service was slow despite the restaurant not being busy.
