I've visited Marlene's twice and had a good experience both times. The menu has been limited to ice creams and soup/chili lately, but I enjoyed the ice cream and the friendly staff.

Great tasting hamburgers. Didn't have to wait long either. I will be stopping there again traveling hi way 70
