Congreso is a standout spot in New Orleans for authentic Cuban cuisine. Being Cuban myself, I have high standards for Cuban food outside Miami, and I can confidently say that Congreso delivers the real deal. The flavors of their dishes transport me back to my childhood in Miami, especially their empanadas, which are a must-try along with the Berenjena Frita con Miel. The attention to detail and the balance of flavors in each dish show true culinary expertise that never fails to impress.
