The spinach enchiladas are generous and flavorful, and the sopapillas are a must-save for dessert. The margaritas are a favorite, and the fajitas with fresh tortillas and amazing queso make for a satisfying meal. Friendly staff, great salsa, and a lively atmosphere with karaoke on weekends keep me coming back regularly.

The spinach enchiladas here are a must-try, and you definitely want to leave room for the amazing sopapillas. The atmosphere is vibrant, the food is consistently good, and the margaritas are a hit with my husband, making it a favorite dining spot for us in Trinity.

While driving through Trinity, Texas yesterday we were all very hungry while driving back home to the Houston/Galveston area. We were thrilled to find a place like El Ranco Viejo. We all ordered something different and all of our meals were excellant!! We give this fine quaint little establishment a 5 star rating. The wait staff was friendly, courteous and awesome in making our visit a pleasurable experience. Next time we are in that area, we will definitely visit again. OH! And the margaritas were damn good too! Thanks guys! Fantastic food.
