Lou's Portuguese bakery in Fall River is an absolute must-visit for their incredibly delicious sweet bread and other treats. The warmth of the service and the quality of the pastries make it a top choice for anyone looking for authentic Portuguese flavors in the area.

I Agree with Dave and MenuPix User.. They Do Charge Top Dollar and The Size Is Actually what Dave Said!! I Absolutely LOVE Thier Sweet Bread, Meat Pies and Everything Else They Have! I Mean THE BEST SWEET BREAD IS FROM THERE!! I Am Truly Disappointed That They Raised The Price On The Sweet Bread Like That and It's Actually The Same Size as The Medium that I Use To Buy Before Too Just Like Dave Said!! They Know They Have The BEST SWEET BREAD and They Sell Out Vert QUICK. They Make a Lot of Money Just On The Sweet BREAD Led Alone All The Other Delicious Stuff They Make! They Reallyyyyy Should Lower The Price. It's NOT Going To Hurt Their POCKETS AT ALL!!

They charge top dollar for their large sweetbread which was a medium sweet bread they used to sell. If you have a family you have to buy two sweet breads.

The sweetbread was delicious but the large sweetbreads was actually the medium size I used to buy before. It's the smallest large sweet bread I have ever bought anywhere.
