The Sunrise location on Acushnet Avenue consistently offers friendly service and delicious pastries that are a must-try for anyone in the area. It has a distinct neighborhood charm that sets it apart from its Dartmouth Street counterpart, creating a European vibe that is easily accessible on foot from Buttonwood Park. While I cannot personally confirm my dad's claim of cheaper and tastier food compared to Dartmouth Street, my go-to order is always the coconut-covered coffee roll, which is generously sized and perfect for a leisurely stroll.
