Zest Bakery in the Stonington Velvet Mill has some of the best pastries and baked goods I've ever tasted, from their perfectly moist cakes to the amazing lemon poppy raspberry muffin that blew me away. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel welcoming and personal, plus their creative custom treats and savory options add so much variety. Every visit leaves me excited to try more, especially with their fresh, flavorful pies, cookies, and seasonal specials that really capture the essence of local baking done right.

This adorable pastry shop at the Velvet Mill has the best baked goods and a cool vibe. The lemon poppy raspberry muffin was amazing, and the chocolate buttercream cake was a hit for my husband's birthday!
