I really like how Indian food is split into North and South cuisines, with each South Indian state having its own unique flavors. Thanima brings me back to the delicious mid Travancore Christian dishes from my home state of Kerala, especially their Sunday buffet with appam, chicken stew, fish curry, porotta, and beef ulartu. Despite the simple setting and occasional service hiccups, the authentic Kerala food at Thanima is a must-try, especially during their Sunday buffet if you're craving a flavorful culinary experience.
