Reminiscent of popular fried chicken spots like Golden Fried Chicken, Hartz, or Golden Chick, this eatery serves up hot, fresh, crispy, and tender chicken that lacks any unpleasant aftertaste. Opting for the 4-piece tenders meal, my companion and I often find ourselves unable to finish the generous portions, complete with a roll, side, cream gravy, and large drink for a reasonable $10. Despite the occasional mumble or mix-up from one staff member, the overall experience is enjoyable, with unique sides like fried okra, jalapeño poppers, and corn nuggets adding to the appeal.
