My wife and I tried this place out for lunch today. The food is served cafeteria style, just like at Luby's. For $8.50, you can choose an entrí©e and two sides, plus you get iced tea and a homemade roll or cornbread. The cafí© has a cozy country feel, complete with stuffed wild animals on the walls. Today, they had options like chicken fried steak, catfish, and stuffed pork chops, and the workers were really friendly. We both went for the chicken fried steak, which was tender and delicious, and the mashed potatoes and butter beans were a hit too. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and hope the place does well.
