I love supporting small business restaurants particularly after many didn't survive the pandemic. For those that did, we try to make our rounds to support them knowing many are still struggling.
I hate giving bad reviews but our experience was so bad, I have to warn others.
Atmosphere was a solid 5 *
Customer service 1*
Waitress 4*
Food quality 1*
Prices 1*
We were seated immediately & were given our drinks & menus
@30 min later we finally placed orders
@45 min after ordering, 5 our party received their meals
Those who got their meals tried to wait for the others to receive their food. @45 min after that, 2 received their food! 1 meal wasn't correct so it was sent back. So 4 people still waiting to get their meals. @15 min later the incorrect meal was corrected & brought back. The 3 missing meals were received almost 2 hours after we first sat down. So of course, those of us who waited for the others to receive their meals, ours was now cold. We still ate them, but many were disappointed with the lack of cheese and missing sides.
The meat portions were not equal to the price & the overall quality of the food was okish. The female manager apologized & offered free house margaritas. 1 person accepted the offer, but most in our party don't drink alcohol. The male manager/owner? came out & explained half of the wait staff & cooks were no call/no show! He apologized & brought out 2 plates of sopapillias. So the 2 that received their meal last, don't drink & are gluten intolerant. They felt especially slighted since there was no offer to comp meals or at least offer a discount on the overall meal. I forgot to mention that 1 of the 3 last meals received was also incorrect but that individual was so frustrated that she just kept silent as we had been there for over 2 hours at that point!
Also, the restaurant was half empty so it really wasn't busy...
I wanted to believe the managers that it was all due to employees not showing but after reading multiple reviews on this place, poor service has been an issue for some time.
I Don't recommend this place- there are other very good small Mexican restaurants that have great food & service!

This place deserves to disappear, it's dirty, bad food and the attitude of management sucks. We will never return.
