After spending a Sunday afternoon exploring the area, we stopped in for lunch and found the food to be consistently excellent, with standout items like spicy but balanced red sauce, fantastic beans, and flavorful green chili sauce. The service was attentive and friendly, drinks were well-maintained, and the warm chips with two types of salsa set a welcoming tone in a small, cozy setting that offers authentic and affordable Mexican cuisine.

On a recent Sunday afternoon, my family and I stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant while searching for a place to have lunch after exploring the area. Despite our differing Tex-Mex and Colo-Mex preferences, we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal, especially the flavorful red sauce that packed just the right amount of heat. Our server, Jeremy, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing our dining experience. The cozy ambiance, quick service, delicious food, and affordable prices make this hidden gem a must-visit for Mexican cuisine enthusiasts in the Colorado Springs area.

Take notice folks, this is a GREAT place for a meal. A Falcon GEM. As you enter it is warm and friendly. chips are warm, fresh and tasty. The salsa is the best I've had in a long time anywhere. The chopped pickled cabbage is great on the chips or on a flour tortilla. My husband got the steak fajita, and it was awesome! Seasoned correctly and very flavorful. I got the shredded chicken in a flour tortilla with a cream sauce, charro beans and grilled squash - fan-freakin'-awesome. We finished dinner with a cherry empanada and flan. Again, the best I've had in a long long time. We won't be driving into the Springs for Mexican food, we'll make the 3 mile trip to our favorite new place! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We would give more than five stars if we could! :-)
