Stopped by on a rainy Thursday afternoon with a group of nine and got seated right away, probably because the weather kept the usual crowd away. The shrimp ceviche tostada is what keeps me coming back-it's finely minced with a perfect balance of veggies and shrimp, and the red aguachile is a spicy, savory treat that's hard to beat. Service was quick and friendly, the tacos dorados are packed with shrimp and potato, and although it's cash only, the fresh seafood and flavors make the trip totally worthwhile.

On a recent Thursday evening, my party of 9 was promptly seated around 4:30. The rainy weather earlier in the day might have contributed to the lack of crowds seeking seafood. Despite typically opting for carry-out, we took the chance to dine in and were pleased with the quick and friendly service. The shrimp ceviche tostada was a standout dish, finely minced shrimp with a perfect balance of vegetables and protein - a must-try for any seafood lover in East LA.
