Avoid Pico Union for authentic Salvadorian cuisine; head to Boyle Heights instead for the best pupusas and pan con pollo. The food is flavorful, portions generous, prices reasonable, and the customer service is exceptional. Despite the small size of the restaurant, the friendly staff and efficient service make for a satisfying dining experience.
