Driving by this restaurant on Vernon and Avalon, I always underestimated it due to the graffiti-covered exterior and small parking area surrounded by palm trees. However, stepping inside revealed a charming space with cozy round tables, attentive service, and delicious, authentic Salvadoran dishes like cheese con loroco pupusas and carne asada, all served promptly in a clean, welcoming environment.

This restaurant on Vernon and Avalon caught my eye multiple times, but I never stepped inside until recently. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior offers a pleasant surprise with its charming decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The menu is easy to navigate, prices are fair, and the food is fresh and flavorful, making it a worthwhile dining destination in South Central LA.
