I really hate making bad reviews so when I do you know it's REALLY bad...so for the memorial weekend we had a delivery through uber eats from gravina and the $19 teeny weeny margarita pizza was cold and bland and burnt in places and the $34 seafood spaghetti was horrible undercooked spaghetti (which is weird because it took an hour to get to us) and the seafood tasted like thawed out frozen fishy smelling stuff but definitely not fresh tasting at ALL...it was probably getting freezer burn in their freezer for the whole 3 months of the pandemic shut down. This was a complete waste of almost $70 and we definitely felt stupid for ordering from here but we won't ever make that mistake again. Now we can put this bad memory behind us.

We thought with the really high prices ($22.00 average for a small plate of pasta) that we'd get gourmet food. But what's expensive is not always the best quality, and what's inexpensive is not always bad quality. The bottom line here is the food at Gravina that was supposed to be served hot was all cold, and the food that was supposed to be served cold was all warm. Everything from the food, the service and the entire staff was backwards. It would have been funny if not for the fact that for a very poor quality meal we were charged over $100.00 and still left the place hungry after all the miniscule portions. So we went down PCH and grabbed some excellent tacos at a taco stand (5 tacos) for around $20.00 which were better than the entire experience at Gravina's. Never Again ! Avoid !

Family owned and operated, Gravina is a very special favorite for many in Malibu for it’s cozy ambience, memorable Italian food, and warm, personal service. We enjoy family dinners together, when our grown sons visit, celebrate birthdays, Christmas Eve, and anniversaries at Gravina - also “date nights,” with just the two of us. During the “shelter at home” weeks, we enjoy the same warmth and wonderful service at “take-out.” It’s good to see our friends Giuseppe Segreto, proprietor, and his wonderful staff, Angelo, Max and others, Be sure to try the tuna tartar appetizer, lamb chops, and seafood pasta.
