Driving from Covina to Rosemead is always worth it to savor the authentic, home-cooked Vietnamese dishes like the $50 four-person combo with steamy rice, hot and sour soup, claypot pork, fried pompano, chicken salad, and preserved vegetable salad, enjoyed alongside friendly, attentive service in a cozy, no-frills setting where the caramelized catfish, sour soup, and tau hu ky (fried shrimp paste wrapped in tofu skin) stand out as favorites that keep me coming back with family for consistent, flavorful meals at great value.
