The Vermont Milk Company is nestled in the "industrial area" of Hardwick, just across from the Grand Union. Akin to Cabot Creamery, the company sources its dairy products from local farmers. Inside the office, a small refrigerator showcases their dairy offerings, including delicious cheese curds. While samples are complimentary, indulging in their unique ice cream is a treat worth the cost, especially to witness their innovative British-invented serving machine that transforms hard ice cream into soft serve directly into a cone. Additionally, the company offers free milk posters and other paraphernalia, boasting their 100% natural, hormone-free products.
