The pizza joint I found has a crust that's straight outta NY, and they even added anchovies just for me (I'm probably the lone anchovy fan in SD!). It takes a while for them to whip up the pies ('bout an hour), but hey, it's a small setup, so I get it. And the prices are a steal - $5.00 for a 14" cheese pie, plus .99 for each topping. This place serves up slices of New York-style goodness that you just gotta try, especially their veggie pizza - it's the bomb! The owner is a total sweetheart who makes you feel right at home. Can't wait to chow down there again!
