Well if the waitress wasn't so sour and grumpy I would have given it 4 stars. Food was good, service was poor. She seemed "put out" when we asked for water. We had just hiked 5 miles and were thirsty!

We stumbled across Ma's last fall while staying in Kimberling City. Great food, great service and reasonable prices. Planning on going back this fall!! They are not closed.....I just called today and they are open daily from 6 to 2.

Not many places like this left. Great food, Great service, a special every day, food made from scatch, prices are cheap by todays standards. Family owned and operated, I always look for places like this when I go on a trip but they are getting really hard to find anymore. I noticed that this site has Ma's listed as closed, I don't know what they mean by that, I eat there all the time.
