Friday evening (August 11th) I arrived at Portland's Union Station after 2 hours of travel on the WAVE bus from Tillamook with a very full bladder. I am a disabled senior who uses a walker thanks to a bad back among other things. One of those other "things" is chronic kidney disease. I hustled in my own little way to the ladies only to find both of the "handicapped" stalls occupied by people using cell phones while several of the "normal size stalls remained open. WTH? RIGHT? Sadly, my walker will not fit in a normal size stall and neither phone user was about to give up theirs (I asked, I begged and even walked by both stalls and peaked in through the gap so that the people inside of them knew I was actually handicapped) all to no avail. Afraid of having an "accident" by this time I told the lovely CHLOE my predicament and as soon as she had someone to cover the till, she personally escorted me to the "Business Lounge" so that I could finally relieve myself. She took "customer service" to the Nth degree for me. PLEASE GIVE THIS YOUNG LADY A RAISE, SHE DESERVES IT!
