During my solo weekend retreat in the Catskills, the cozy ambiance and authentic German fare at Crystal Brook Mountain Brauhaus Resort captivated my palate and soul, from crisp Hofbrau Haus beers to perfectly executed Rouladen and indulgent plum cake. The warm hospitality from Wendy and family, coupled with the charming, homey lounge and scenic trails nearby, made for an unforgettable escape that I'm eager to revisit despite minor quirks like the faucet water and intermittent WiFi.
