Been going there for about 20 years but no regularly because it's 85 miles from where i live but when we are in the area we stop for the "stilly philly" open faced sandwich and it's simply awesome,it's an open sub that once you have had it you can'y get enough of it and it's definitely unforgettable.

My parents owned the tavern when it was Nancy's lounge , 40 years ago !!! The food hasn't changed since. I was there & had the fish fry. It was a world class meal. It's amazing , Moonwinks also touted good food but I was surprised to see only two cars there that same night. The still water was sooo busy , the cars were wrapped all around on to rt.19. I am planning on coming back & hope to find a happy home in Belfast. Maybe a cabin in the woods, and a take out from a world-class establishment like the still water.
Call me if anyone out there can find a veteran a little cabin; even one to oversee, then I'll be a regular at my mom & dad's old place. Your food is just off the hook delicious. Thank you, Michael Skrlin USN ret 20 Irving place Buffalo NY 14201 (716)220-0081. Call me anytime
