The food is delicious and well-seasoned, with a great staff and tasty desserts. Despite being slightly off the beaten path, the effort to visit is worthwhile. I visited for breakfast during the start of my trip last August and had a satisfying meal that set a positive tone for the day.

Wasn't much of a choose on the menu, and prices were were rather expensive.

This place is a trip. My wife and I travel all over, covered 10000s of mile across this nation and BAR NONE this is the best eating establishment in the U.S.A. Prices reasonable . Their Deserts are wonderful and They claim to have the largest tenderloin sandwich in the U.S. and I have to agree ordered one and ate off of it for 3 days!!!! If you don't try it, its on you

It's worth getting off the highway to eat at Smith's. A REAL family restaurant. The pies and fruit cobblers are the very best...especially ala mode. Don't forget to buy a whole pie to go.
