The food and service are excellent. I enjoyed the table side guacamole. Be cautious of the slippery floor. The black beans and rice were delicious. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is comfortable. The food is authentic and the margaritas are great. I recommend trying the grilled shrimps in garlic oil. The nachos de la casa are a must-try. The staff is polite and the place is clean.

Casa Herera is a lovely restaurant with a very good staff. You really feel like you're in Mexico.of you are one with a large appetite this place is for you.
Unfortunately being a foodie, my dinner left a lot to be desired. I ordered a chicken chimichanga, which was supposed to be deep fried. It came warm as if it were made the day before and microwaved, as did the rice. I'm sure if it had been freshly made it would have been delicious.
I've read many of the reviews and I probably ordered the wrong thing.
